Vancouver PSA Policies

Due payments must be made before your dogs name gets put up on the whiteboard.

Members need to keep a training log- members must bring training log to all training sessions and be prepared to let the directors know what they want to work on each session (including equipment).

If you are late for training you forfeit one of your two training sessions.

All members are required to stay for the entire training session and help clean up at the end of the session.

All members are required to attend two full training sessions a month in order to maintain a membership with the club.

Decoys dogs are worked first.

You will be required to practice obedience before bite work and may not just show up for bite work.

Directors may deny protection work to those who are not progressing in obedience or who the decoy feels is unsafe or not ready to work in protection.

New members must attend the club without a dog for 2 sessions (no dues are required for the first two sessions) , and then with the dog working on obedience only for 2 months prior to protection. Directors discretion may shorten or lengthen this time frame.

New members must obtain a PSA membership before protection.

For everyone's safely, anyone who does not take immediate direction given from directors and/or decoys may be asked to leave training sessions immediately.

Any members who are asked to leave the club due to safety concerns or unsportsman like conduct will forfit membership fee. Injuries and illness will be a case by case basis.

All dogs must be crated in vehicles during all training sessions
